One Of My Favorite Saint Stories Ever

Today is the feast of St. Anthony of Padua, and stories about him never cease to amaze me. Like this one:

Once, upon entering a town hostile to the faith, city leaders ordered the people not to attend a single Mass or talk that Anthony would offer. Instead of leaving, though, Anthony walked over to a river and started preaching to the fish!

Suddenly, thousands of fish popped their heads out of the water to listen.

Talking about our faith is not always easy. Even for the greatest of saints, there were roadblocks along the way.

When that happens, simply take a lesson from St. Anthony of Padua, and talk about your faith anyway.
